For the first time in its run, this episode felt almost incomplete. Sure, we had a couple of interesting (and sad) revelations within it, but this particular task didn’t have the same heft as the previous two* and even though we lost another member of the coven (and Rio got another body for her troubles […]
Well, I think we can put together just what went down between Rio (or is it Blackheart?*) and Agatha all those years ago – leading to their estrangement and everything that has happened to Agatha since. And even without that major revelation, this was a stellar installment of Agatha All Along, providing a number of […]
Fare thee well Mrs. Hart, we hardly knew you. And, judging from that final line of the episode, neither did Agatha, whose selfish needs brought you on this trip and led to your unfortunate death. However, the death of Sharon means that the coven is now in need of a Green Witch – preferably the […]
I’ll wholly admit to being skeptical about the decision to launch a spin-off of the exceptional – and, frankly, best MCU television series to date – WandaVision centered about Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness when it was announced. I mean, what was there to say about the character, whose revelation – and snappy song – was […]
So, it turned it we got the (extremely truncated) Madelyne Pryor story arc this week – complete with little Nathan Summers getting sent to the future to save his life (which won’t screw him up in any way, no siree!) and Mister Sinister returning to try and manipulate Madelyne and Nathan to do his bidding. […]
When the news dropped back in 2023 that Echo, the limited series starring Alaqua Cox as the title character – reprising the role she briefly played in 2021’s limited series Hawkeye – would be dropped in a single batch of five episodes (a first for a Disney+ MCU series), rumors started swirling that the series […]
I will admit to not be a huge fan of season one of What If?, the animated MCU series that allowed for a bit of fun to emerge into the convoluted world of Marvel – and that allowed some of our dearly departed characters the chance to appear in some more stories (even if not […]
Before I get into the process of breaking down the finale (and really, the entire arc the series took Loki on this season), I wanted to make it clear that the writers absolutely did right by the character with how and where he ended this season. The realization by Loki that he needs to be […]
Say what you will about this season of Loki (and I certainly have over my previous reviews), but you cannot say that Tom Hiddleston hasn’t left it all on the pitch this season with his portrayal of the titular character. Sure, the story has been way too centered on the mechanics of time travel rather […]
Well, that was unexpected. Although, after an episode that highlighted the various ouroboros instances that have occurred throughout the series thus far (OB creating the TVA manual from Victor’s notes while Victor created his notes from the TVA manual and Loki finding his past self to prune him so that his current self could continue […]
